My name is Patrick Gruber and I was born on July 21 in Mürzzuschlag (AUT)
Skateboarding was the reason for ma to get in touch with boardsport for the first time. It was just a matter of time until I found out about snowboarding - this was back in '94. Four years later - in the winter of '98 I participated in my first snowboard competition. I liked it so much that I started to take snowboarding more serious. Since the last five years I ride my board about 180 days a year, which pushed my riding skills and level. Due to some really good contest results my name is pretty well known in the industry and scene. I am living in Schladming/ AUT since 4 years where I have the perfect training conditions and also the possibilities to learn some extra money from my sponsor blue tomato by helping out in the shop. This is a great balance for me: filming sessions, fotoshootings, contest riding and making some extra by selling boards and stuff!
